Artist Wayne Linsey

Wayne Linsey is the consummate musician, producer, arranger, songwriter and artist. As a multi-talented instrumentalist, Wayne plays keyboards, guitar, bass and drums. Legendary singers and performers have made him one of the most sought after musicians - whether on stage or in the recording studio. His list of credits read like a who's who in contemporary music, having worked with legends such as Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds, Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross, Earth, Wind & Fire, Aerosmith, Sting, Ray Charles and Alicia Keys. Linsey also spent several years touring and recording with Whitney Houston and the ever-popular band 'Maze featuring Frankie Beverly,' where he lent his distinctive and soulful touch as the primary keyboardist.
A former Virgin recording artist, Linsey's studio work has included sessions with everyone from Diana Ross and Nancy Wilson to The Jacksons, James Ingram, Yolanda Adams, Stanley Clarke and Bobby Brown. His television and film credits include numerous appearances on specials and awards shows, such as 'The Grammys' and the 'NAACP Image Awards', and on productions like 'Motown Live', Fox Network's 'Cedric The Entertainer' show, 'The Wayne Brady Show' and 'Fame.' Linsey was featured as the keyboardist on the 2005 season of 'American Idol,' and will soon release his solo project, titled 'One Less Brother.'
